Fed-up with the frequent accident due to employee negligence, Union Railway Minister Peeyush goyal, who has been made railway minister in recent cabinet reshuffle, Indian Railway has decided to give Productivity based bonus to their employee. Although RPF and RPSF have been excluded from this benefit.
In a bid to boost services of the Indian Railways, the Cabinet has approved a productivity linked bonus (PLB) for Railway employees ahead of Dussehra holiday.
The PLB would be as an incentive and result in motivating a large number of Railway employees, to improve their productivity and ensure safety, speed and service for Railway customers. It would be benefitted about 12.30 lakh Railway employees.
