MBBS students are being blackmailed in Doon Medical college

In a bid to protest against their warden, who have been threatening to their MBBS girls hostel inmates of the Government Doon Medical College, MBBS students have stage dharna inside the campus on Thursday. They alleged that they are being threatened either you follow their instruction or be ready to be failed in their exam. Even they tried to approach Principal but could not succeed so they staged protest.

Government Doon Medical college, which is brainchild of former chief minister vijay bahuguna because he had laid foundation stone and inaugurated by former chief minister Harish Rawat, has been treating their girls student inhumanly. Due to this reason they have staged protest inside their campus then their warden has given them threatening that if you refused to obey their instruction/guidelines then they would fail them in their exams. Due to this reason they are bound to face inhuman treatment.

As per the navratra festival these hostel residents have demanded that they should be allowed to stay on leave till October 2 but warden refused to accept their demand. Even they alleged that their warden do not allow them to even go outside during holiday. Even if their parent comes they don’t allow us to go along with them. Although they alleged that all the time they are being threatened that if you leak this then their career would spoiled by them.

On condition of anonymity an inmate has shared evidence to ascertained their protest of thursday. As per the information the college has started enrolling MBBS students since 2016 which is why around 130 girls students (70 second year and 60 first years) are staying in the hostel. They further disclosed that they have three wardens but all are treating us inhumanly.

They are not being given emergency leave. They have been categorically told that If you want to take leave on Saturday and Sunday then you will have to submit your application at least three days in advance. Whenever they are approaching for emergency leave then their warden says that you people are not child so don’t come for such kind of leave.
