Kapil Sharma show to go off air owing to his health issues

Sony Entertainment Television has finally decided to pull the plug on one of their popular comedy weekend offerings, The Kapil Sharma Show. The reason behind this sudden decision is apparently Kapil’s health issues. The cast of the show has either moved on to other shows or have taken a break ever since the mid air brawl between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover happened.

“Yes, I am just going to rest for some days. It is just a drop of a few episodes because I cannot ignore my health at this stage when my movie is also going to release and the coming schedule is going to be more hectic. I will come back with full force. I am thankful to the channel that they allowed me and did not put any pressure,” Kapil told Pinkvilla.
The channel had to to run repeat telecasts when Kapil refused to come for shoots citing heath issues. Most recently Kapil cancelled shoot with the team of Baadshaho and this was the final nail in the coffin.
