Teerath appionted as BJP national secretary

As part of continuing efforts to mollify the former state BJP president and the sitting MLA from Choubattakhal in Pauri district Teerath Singh Rawat- who  was sent to sulk after the party gave the ticket to  the senior leader and former MP Satpal Maharaj from  the same constituency he is the MLA from- the party high command has  appointed him as the national secretary on Saturday. State BJP president Ajay Bhatt informed this in the presence of  the Union finance minister Arun Jaitley, three former CMs- Maj Gen Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishanks and Bhagat Singh Koshyari- and BJP state in-charge Shayam Jaju, election in-charge JP Nadda, Union minister Ajay Tamta and Tehri MP Maharani Rajya Lakshmi Shah here in Dehradun on Saturday
