The Uttarakhand government has announced a major reshuffle in the Police Department, transferring and assigning new responsibilities to 16 IPS officers. The Home Department released the transfer list on Thursday, detailing significant changes across key positions.
According to the notification, IPS Nilesh Anand Bharne has been appointed IG PAC, while IPS Yogendra Rawat has been entrusted with the responsibilities of IG Headquarters along with IG Personnel.
Senior officer IPS Tripti Bhatt has been posted as Additional Secretary, Home and Prisons Department, and IPS Nivedita Kukreti has been assigned as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), SDRF.

The wide-ranging reshuffle is aimed at improving administrative efficiency and strengthening the state’s policing system. The new postings come into immediate effect.
