St. Joseph’s Academy hosted the second edition of its Entrepreneurship Competition, “Aquarium 2025,” inspired by Shark Tank India. Students from Classes XI and XII showcased their innovative startup ideas before a distinguished panel of alumni judges.
The panel included Nitish Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner of Nitish Gupta & Company; Navdeep Bhatnagar, Assistant Professor at the School of Business, UPES; and Dr. Sargam Behl, Assistant Professor at Graphic Era Hill University.
The competition began with the Presentation Round, where seven teams had seven minutes each to pitch their innovative business ideas. Among the standout ventures were Beyond Beans, offering decaffeinated beverages for health-conscious coffee lovers; Mystify, with an instant ironing spray for wrinkle-free clothes; Tylex, promoting sustainable recycled plastic tiles; Corsage, an eco-friendly fashion label transforming waste into wearable art; Demencia, presenting modern silver jewellery for the youth; Fawake, crafting customized luxury fragrances and attars; and Orivio, offering pre-prepped continental ingredients for convenient healthy cooking.
The auditorium buzzed with energy as students showcased creativity, business insight, and confidence. After a gripping first round, four teams—Corsage, Fawake, Tylex, and Beyond Beans—advanced to the Q&A Round, where judges challenged their ideas with probing questions on scalability, financial strategy, and real-world application.
The event concluded with Rev. Bro. Joseph M. Joseph honouring the judges with mementos before the much-anticipated results were announced. Team Fawake—Shaurya Anand, Aahana Bist, Sukriti Singh, Diya Gupta, and Aaradhya Pratap Singh Sen, mentored by Ms. Sunita Sial—were declared Runners-up. Team Tylex—Navya Bhatt, Arjun Singh, and Shaurya Makin, mentored by Ms. Priya Bhatiya—emerged as the Champions of Aquarium 2025, lifting the trophy to loud cheers and applause.
The event concluded on a high note, celebrating not only winners but the entrepreneurial spirit of every participant. Aquarium 2025 reflected St. Joseph’s Academy’s unwavering commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity, and leadership—qualities that will empower students to shape a brighter, more enterprising future.
