Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the sacred city of Haridwar on Saturday, marking her first spiritual visit to the holy land after assuming office. She arrived at the world-renowned Har Ki Pauri, where she was warmly welcomed by members of the Ganga Sabha. Accompanied by her husband and son, CM Gupta took a ceremonial dip in the holy Ganga River and later participated in the divine Ganga Aarti.

Draped in traditional attire and with visible reverence, the Chief Minister bowed before Maa Ganga, expressing deep gratitude and offering prayers for the prosperity of the nation. “This bath in Maa Ganga holds immense spiritual importance for me,” she said. “Today marks the completion of 100 days of our government in Delhi, and it is only fitting that I begin the next chapter by seeking the blessings of the sacred Ganga here at Har Ki Pauri.”

She prayed for India’s development and Delhi’s inclusive growth, emphasizing her hope that the blessings of Maa Ganga guide the government’s future steps. She also expressed a strong desire to rejuvenate and purify the Yamuna River in Delhi, making it as clean and divine as the Ganga.

Reflecting on her government’s first 100 days, CM Gupta described them as the foundation for a stronger, more progressive Delhi. “These 100 days are not just a milestone, but a message—our commitment to turning Delhi into a model of development and efficiency,” she added.

The visit ended on a deeply spiritual note, reinforcing CM Rekha Gupta’s resolve to blend governance with cultural and spiritual consciousness, and serve Delhi with renewed energy and devotion.
