To promote Sanskrit in private institutions, Secretary Deepak Kumar Gairola met Mahant Devendra Das Ji at Shri Guru Ram Rai Darbar Sahib, Dehradun. He presented the ‘Meri Yojana’ book and urged support in spreading awareness of government schemes through Darbar Sahib and the Guru Ram Rai Educational Trust. Their discussions were on following issues..
Name plates in Sanskrit will be installed in All the educational institutions run under SGRR Education Mission will installed name plate in Sanskrit languages. Even Mahant Indresh Hospital’s department and doctors name will be written in Sanskrit. For this Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy will provide assistance in translation for the above.
Along with modern medicine, a mantra therapy center will be built in the famous and largest Mahant Indresh Hospital of North India. Patients suffering from serious diseases will be treated by conducting functional research through Vedic mantras such as Mahamrityunjay Japa, Gayatri Mantra and Devi Kavacham present in Durgasaptashati and other Vedic mantras.
Students/teachers of Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya run by Darbar Sahib, if other institutions, students, teachers also want to come forward for the above research, then the required cooperation will be provided by Darbar Sahib. Under the Sanskrit Education Department, proceedings will also be done for MOU between Uttarakhand Sanskrit University and Sanskrit Academy and Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Trust, which will promote the development, upliftment, promotion and research of the second official language.
Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj said that Sanskrit College was first established in 1931 as an educational institution in SGRR Darbar Sahib and now this development in the field of education and health is growing at national and international level too. Mahant further said that Guru Ram Rai Darbar Sahib has been playing a leading role in all the subjects, be it education, health or social upliftment and promotion of folk culture and Sanskrit.
Maharaj Ji also assured that all the institutions operating under Guru Ram Rai Education Trust will cooperate in publicizing the government schemes through the ‘Meri Yojana’ books published by the ‘Programme Implementation’ department of the Uttarakhand government.
