Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has asked the state Chief Secretary to prepare a comprehensive and time-bound strategy to implement the key directives given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog held on Saturday in New Delhi.

CM Dhami emphasized that the vision of “Developed India @2047,” as outlined by the Prime Minister, can only be achieved through effective execution of central policies and programs at the grassroots level. He said that Uttarakhand, being a strategically important and rapidly developing hill state, must align its developmental roadmap with the national vision to ensure long-term prosperity.

“To turn the Prime Minister’s vision into reality, the state government must work in close coordination with the central government and related departments. Every department should contribute actively and with accountability,” CM Dhami stated during a high-level review meeting held after returning from New Delhi.

He instructed the Chief Secretary to engage with all relevant departments and formulate a practical, time-bound action plan. The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of continuous monitoring of these plans to ensure timely results. Special focus should be given to areas highlighted during the NITI Aayog meeting — including sustainable urban development, climate resilience, youth employment, and agricultural transformation.

CM Dhami also directed that transparency and accountability must be ensured at every stage of implementation. He insisted on the involvement of local communities and public participation to make the development process inclusive and impactful. “We have to make sure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person standing in line,” he said.

The Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of his government to contribute fully to India’s journey toward self-reliance and development. He added that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Uttarakhand has made remarkable strides in governance, infrastructure, tourism, and financial management, and the momentum must continue.

This directive marks a significant step towards translating the key takeaways from the NITI Aayog meeting into actionable progress at the state level. The Chief Minister’s proactive approach aims to position Uttarakhand as a model state contributing robustly to India’s development goals by 2047.
