Director General of Information and Public Relations and Vice President of MDDA, Banshidhar Tiwari, on Sunday emphasized the importance of staying connected to one’s roots, even amid increasing migration from the hills. Speaking as the chief guest at the event “How Should the Mountains Be Inhabited?” organized by Uttarjan Today Centurion Club, Tiwari said it is the moral responsibility of every citizen to contribute to the development of their birthplace.
“Even though positive migration is happening, people must maintain their bond with their soil and actively support its progress,” he said.
