In a bid to shape the future of rescued children from begging Dehradun DM Savin Bansal has established intensive care shelter at Sadhuram Inter College here in Dehradun on Friday. As we know that since he joins as DM, he has been consistently making effort to make state capital Dehradun free from child beggars.
With a focused approach, the shelter is transforming lives by providing education, skill development, and personal growth opportunities. Volunteers and experts are working tirelessly to offer holistic development to these children. A dedicated classroom has been set up for reading and writing, alongside a computer lab and a music room to nurture creativity and talent.
This state-of-the-art shelter is a beacon of hope, designed to instill an interest in education and help these young minds dream beyond their difficult pasts. By offering lessons in computer skills, music, painting, and sports, the initiative is not only providing academic support but also helping children discover their hidden talents and aspirations.
Currently, 25-30 children attend classes here daily, shaping a future that once seemed out of reach. With an environment that mirrors the facilities of private schools and institutions, this shelter is a testament to Uttarakhand’s commitment to nurturing its youth. For these rescued children, education is no longer just a distant dream—it is now a reality filled with possibilities.
