Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami led cabinet has taken several decisions in a cabinet meeting on March 14 2024. The meeting’s outcome was disclosed by Secretary Shailesh Bagoli after cabinet meeting in secretariat. Cabinet has Uttarakhand Clean Mobility Transformation Policy 2024 approved foe Dehradun. City bus & Vikram operators will be encouraged to purchase eco-friendly electric & CNG vehicles. For this state government will give them subsidies too.
Uttarkahand Cabinet has also approved Uttarakhand Sanskrit Education Manual and approved amendment to the seniority rules under the Personnel Department. Approval of one selection year in place of one selection.
Cabinet has also approved Forest Panchayat Amendment Rules. Cabinet has cleared that Eco tourism will be promoted in the state.
Cabinet has also decided that Under the Urban Development Department, 0.9 hectare land will be transferred to Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority (HRDA) for construction of Unity Mall in Haridwar.
Cabinet has also approved 18 posts in family courts in Bageshwar, Champawat, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi under Justice Department. Cabinet has also cleared that Family courts will be established in Dehradun, Haridwar and Roorkee under the Law Department. For this 9 posts have been approved.
