Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has done a lot of work in his 2 year term as the chief minister. His good governance model has been praised by the centre government. Public is fully satisfied with him & this can be seen on social media where his 2 year term has been trending.
CM Dhami has done a lot of work for development in hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Not just that, he has also taken a lot of steps for upliftment & development of women. He provided various kinds of financial & non-financail assistance to women through various schemes such as Sukanya Jandhan Yojana, Hostel for working women, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Sabala Yojana, Kishori Shakti Yojana, Nanda-Gaura Yojana, Tilu Rauteli Award, Mukhyamantri Satat Ajeevika Yojana, etc.
CM Dhami has also taken various steps to boost tourism by renovating many temples including Chardham Yatra, starting of railway lines & heli-services for tourists in mountain regions for easy transportation. His government is also working on Kumaon’s Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission that includes renovation of 16 temples.
CM Dhami has also been concerned about providing employment to the state’s youth. For this, he organized Uttarakhand Global Investors’ Summit in 2023 in which he got industrial projects with investment worth ₹ 3.5 lakh crore against the target of ₹ 2.5 lakh crore. Many national & international companies have shown interest & have signed MoUs with the state govt. to set up industrial units & businesses in Uttarakhand. These investments if fruitful, will provide jobs to thousands of youth in Uttrakhand in the next 5 years.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also took some strong decisions which found favour among public. Some of these include India’s strongest anti-copying act, stern action against land jihad, strong action against love jihad. He also got UCC (Uniform Civil code) act passed in vidhan sabha after which it has been sent to the President for approval. Once approved, it will be implemented in Uttarakhand which will make it the 1st state after independence to implement UCC in India.
All his actions & decisions have been praised by not only public but also by the centre government. Today his 2 year work was trending in Top 5 on social media.
