Tremors felt in Chamoli

After therain havoc, people of Chamoli are now in fear of earthquake. Tremors were felt here at night. This led to panic amongst the people. However no damage has been reported from anywhere.

People of Chamoli district are suffering from landslides and disaster from cloud bursts. This time the rainwreaked havoc in many places in the district. At the same time, the connectivity routes have also been destroyed. When the rain decreased, now people came back to panic after the earthquake.

The people of Chamoli district felt the tremors of the earthquake at around 2.22 pm  in the night. People woke up from sleep and ran out of the house towards safe place.

The night’s earthquake is estimated at 3.6. At the same time, the epicenter of the earthquake was Chamoli. Disaster Management Officer Nandkishore Joshi said that no damage was reported from the earthquake.
