Social Welfare Department officials to be questioned in Scholarship scam

In the scholarship scam, action will be taken against the officials of the social welfare department, after taking action against the operators of private educational institutions. SIT has issued notices to the department nodal officer IT cell Anurag Shankhar and three assistant social welfare officers. On Saturday, the SIT will interrogate these officers.
So far, SIT has caught a scam of about 50 crore rupees in the educational institutions of Haridwar. On the basis of fake documents, five officials of various institutions have been sent to jail for charging scholarship. Among them is the brother of Congress MLA Qazi Nizamuddin of Mangalore region, the second is the nephew of former MLA and Congress leader Suresh Chand Jain of Roorkee area.

A case of scandal is also under consideration in Dehradun. SIT is involved in the verification of documents of many institutions. Action is also being taken against the educational institutions of Dehradun. The action taken against the officials of the Social Welfare Department is continuously rising in this scholarship scandal.
