Udhamsinghnagar to get plastic park and Aroma City shortly

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that during the 20-month tenure, state government has tightened the noose on corruption. Action is being taken against those who were involved in corruption and are being sent to jail. Their government is committed for the welfare of every section of the society. CM was felicitated by the public on the approval of Adarsh College in Kichha on Wednesday.

On this occasion, Chief Minister announced to increase the deadline for the ownership rights on the land of category-4 till March 31, 2019. Proprietary rights will be given on the basis of the old circle rates till March 31. He made several announcements including making the royalty of the soil practical, providing land to the landless people, a new bus stand, setting up the Ethanol Plant in the Kichha Sugar Mill, construction of road after covering Paha canal, overhauling the construction of 20-km internal roads of Kichha, framing a separate policy to resolve the problem of the Nazul land, construction of 4-km road from 74 Khatima-Panipat National Highway-village Mahtosh to village Nawabganj Shaheed Baljeet Singh statue, construction of an incomplete rapta bridge on river Kichha, construction of building for ITI Kichha, providing the status of Nagar Panchayat to Nagla, Lalpur and Sirauli Kalan, establishing the statue of Pt Govind Ballabh Pant in Kichha Prag Farm, construction of Tehsil Bhawan, SDM office building, construction of approved fire brigade station, construction of four additional class room in Kichha Girls Inter College, establishment of SIIDCUL on 1000 acre land of village Khurpia and widening of the route from Kichha-Haldwani to Shantipuri Number 4 till Anjania.

Chief Minister said that the sugarcane farmers need not to worry because new strategies is being made for them. Till 2022, all the BPL families will be provided a pucca house. On the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s on December 25, Atal Ayushman Yojana will be launched in Uttarakhand, so that all the people get free healthcare. So far, proposals worth investment of 1.25 lakh crore have been signed in the state, which are being followed up every week. In the state, till March 2019, the requirement of investment of Rs 30,000 crores was received and proposal of Rs 4,000 crores for resuscitation of old industries has also been received. Till now, the proposals for investment in the plains used to come but now investment proposals for the hills have also been signed. He said that plastic park and Aroma City will soon be developed in the district Udham Singh Nagar. He expressed his happiness and said this time district has registered record Paddy procurement. The farmers whose payment is still pending would be cleared soon.

Speaking on the occasion, Urban Development Minister Mr. Madan Kaushik said that we are continuing with the prospect of continuous development, which is enhancing public confidence in the government. He said the government is working on zero tolerance. He said that the government has been continuing to accelerate the pace of development in the field of employment opportunities for youth, development of the area, affordable treatment in health sector, electrification etc. He said that the royalty being taken on the soil will be reduced.

Area MLA Rajesh Shukla said that this programme has been organized to take inspiration for further development. He said that for 40 years the people were not getting the ownership on the category-4 land. At present, 455 people have been given the ownership right in the Kichha area.

In the programme, Mayor Rampal Singh, MLA Rajkumar Thukral, Rajesh Shukla, Saurabh Bahuguna, former MP Balraj Passi, BJP District President Shiv Arora, Harish Chandra Pant, Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Rajkumari Giri, Jagat Singh Parihar, Suresh Parihar, District Magistrate Dr. Neeraj Khairwal, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. KK VK, Chief Development Officer Alok Kumar Pandey, Additional District Magistrate Uttam Singh Chauhan, public representatives of district level officials were present.
