A delegation of Uttarakhand Rajya Prathmik Shiksha Sangh led by it’s district president Virender Singh Kirshali met Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today. The representatives of the Sangh thanked the Chief Minister for abolishing the block cadre of primary teachers and making district cadre. They informed the Chief Minister that besides all the primary teachers of 95 blocks in the starte, their families are also happy at the abolition of block cadre. They said that primary teachers had been demanding abolition of block cadre for the past three to four years and the demand was met by Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Chief Minister expected from teachers’ organizations to work for strengthening of primary education and focusing on bringing quality in education. Teachers should work for making conducive atmosphere for education in the schools since primary education makes a strong foundation of education for students. He said that there is need for effective initiative in this direction.
Digvijay Singh Chauhan, State President of the Sangh welcomed the positive step taken by the state government. Rajinder Singh Gusain, Chander Prakash Pal, Sandeep Solanki, Vinod Aswal, Laxman Singh Rawat, Ravinder Nath Upadhaya, Sanjay Gusain, Neelima Negi,Prabodh Singh Rawat and others were present on the occasion .
