SJA celebrates its annual day today

The Junior Section of St. Joseph’s Academy celebrated their Annual Day on November 17. All the junior Josephites were clad in impressive colourful dresses and enthralled everyone with their performance .
Secretary to CM Radhika Jha, was chief guest of the function, was given a warm welcome by the school authorities including Brother Carol and Bro. Joseph.
The teachers and the Administrative Staff of St. Joseph’s Academy were felicitated for their dedicated and meticulous service to the school . Gloria David was felicitated for completing 25 years of service.
The students of classes IV and V put up the spectacular prayer dance which was followed by the mesmerising musical play , ” The Ugly Duckling ” , by the kindergarten tiny tots ,  who received a huge round of applause by everyone present .
“Flavours of Uttarakhand ” , a Garhwali dance was presented by the students of classes IV and V which left the audience spellbound .Up next , ” Wizard of Oz” was put up by the students of classes I to V .
Additional Secretary to CM, Radhika Jha, addressed the gathering and complimented each and every student of the junior school and left them with her best wishes .
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the Junior School Coordinator , Ms. M. Hasan , and the Junior School Choir singing the School Song .
