Couple become councillor in local body election

Strange but true because a couple has won the urban local body election in Rishikesh municipal corporation.

Vikas Tewatia has become councillor by winning ward no 23 while his wife Tanu vikas Tewatia become councillor by winning ward no 24 of Rishikesh Municipal Corporation.

Although in this election results are unprecedented because senior leader like state BJP president Ajay Bhatt and state education minister Arvind Pandey could not convince voter because BJP candidate lost their seat in Ranikhet and ward of Udhamsinghnagar.
