CM reviews preparation ahead of PM visit

On the auspicious occasion of Deepawali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Sri Kedarnath Dham on November 7. In this regard, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit at CM residence on Tuesday. Chief Minister directed the officers concerned to make foolproof arrangements.

Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh informed the Chief Minister that all the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit to Sri Kedarnath Dham have been completed. Snow is being continuously removed from route from VIP helipad to temple.

Prime Minister will reach Sri Kedarnath Dham on November 7 (Wednesday) at 9:45 am.  After performing Puja and paying obeisance at the Dham, Prime Minister will examine the ongoing reconstruction works. After this, Prime Minister will see a video presentation related to the reconstruction works in the guest house located in the temple premises.

Entire Kedarpuri has become very attractive due to snow fall. Chief Minister issued instructions that foolproof arrangements should be made for the Prime Minister’s visit.
