State to face local bodies election on Nov 18

Finally state election commission has announced date for local bodies election today. As per the information state to face poll on November 18 and counting would happen on November 20.

Candidate can file nomination paper in between October 20-23;  scrutiny would happen in between October  25-26;  withdrawal by October 27; distribution of election emblem by October 29 and polling on November 18 and counting would happen on November 20.

SEC has also announced election expenditure for different post. As per the schedule Mayor election expenditure limit would be Rs 15 lakh; Deputy City head Rs two lakh; Councillor Rs two lakh; municipal chairman Rs four lakh and etc
