Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has congratulated the people of the state on Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti.

In his message Chief Minister said that through the classical composition like Ramayana, Maharishi Valmiki apprised the world about the character of the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram and through the Ramayana presented the ideal depiction of Indian life system and social relations.

CM said that the education of moral values like sacrifice, harmony, goodwill and humanity given by Mahishi Valmiki through the great Granth Ramayana is more relevant today than ever before. We have to take the resolve of Maharishi Valmiki’s teachings in our behaviour. This will be our respect and true reverence for him.
