BHEL pays 91 percent dividend

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has paid a final equity dividend of 51% for fiscal 2017-18. With this, the total dividend paid for the year stands at 91%, on the enhanced equity share capital post bonus, including an interim dividend of 40%, paid earlier.

A cheque of Rs.236.15 Crore towards the final dividend for the year 2017-18 on the equity (63.06%) held by the Government of India, was presented to Anant Geete, Hon’ble Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises and Babul Supriyo, Hon’ble Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, by Atul Sobti, Chairman and Managing Director, BHEL, in the presence of Dr. AR Sihag, Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry (DHI). Directors on the board of BHEL and senior officials of the Ministry were also present on this occasion.
