On the third day of Monsoon session of Uttarakhand Vidhan sabha, BJP MLA announced that he would tender his resignation in next one week. He also demanded from the house to take effective step to deal with leopard menace.
Bageshwar MLA Chandan Ram Das said that people are leaving under threat of leapord attack and deparment concerned is not taking appropriate measure to help the hapless resident. He said that yesterday a leopard has taken away six year old girl from village. This incident has made him impatient and he feels awkward being MLA of the area where leopord is injuring people every day. Even people are leaving under fear psychosis.
He further said that he represent the area where people are leaving under leopard threat. He feel ashamed because department concerned is not taking any action to deal with leopard menace. he said that due to leopard attack people have down their shutter as part of protest against the administration. He demanded from the house to take appropriate measure otherwise he would not hesitate in tendering his resignation.
