In the presence of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Secretary Health Nitish Jha and Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Uttarakhand signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with RK Jain regarding investments worth Rs. 7350 crore in different sectors of Pharma sector at Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. another MOU was signed between Anil Marwah, President, Uttarakhand Industries Welfare Association and Sudhir Nautiyal, Director, Industry for establishing 25 units worth Rs. 300 crores at different places in the state under MSME. The units to be established under MSME will be at Rishikesh, Selaqui, Bhagwanpur, Pauri and Kotdwar.
CM said that the SME (small and medium enterprises) being established in different areas of the state to strengthen the local economy and also helps local youth to get employment and eradicating unemployment. The firms that have set up industry includes Prerna Center for Learning and Development Pvt. Rs 30 crore, Rishidham Forest Retreat Pvt. Ltd, Himgiri Packaging Solution, Osho Flexible Limited, Osho Industries Limited, Osho Laminators LLP (each Rs 20 Crore), New Wood Industries and Sri Krishna Industries Rs 15 Crore, GVKC Fashions Rs 14 Crore, along with other industries making investment of Rs 10 and Rs 5 crore.
Chief Minister’s Industrial Advisor KS Panwar, Technical Advisor Narendra Singh, Secretary Nitesh Jha, Deputy Director Anupam Dwivedi, General Secretary of Industries Association Pawan Aggarwal, Vice President Sunil Uniyal, Chairman of Doon Chapter JP Garg etc. were present on this occasion.
