Opp walk out from house

On the issue of Lokayukta, opposition demanded debate under 310 of vidhan sabha proceeding on the fourth day of vidhan sabha on Monday.

As house assembled then opposition demanded debate on Lokayukta by giving notice under 310. Although cabinet minister Madan Kaushik said that the matter already referred to the high power committee. They have submitted their report to the house and now the report is property of the house.

Leader of opposition Indira Hridayesh said that they were consistently raising voice in favour of Lokayukta earlier but now they are silent on the issue. Treasury bench said that government is dedicated to weed out the corruption and you have witnessed that how government is taking all kind of measure to curb the corruption. As far as lokayukta is concerned then government is serious on it. Although they did not give any deadline for their appointment.

They also said that opposition are divided on it which is why they did not raise the issue before the Vidhan sabha working committee, which decide the day agenda of the house.  Listening the reply of the treasury bench opposition decided to walk out from the house as part of protest and they walk out.
