Nine arrested in GRD world school gang rape case

Nine person including four rapist have been arrested by the police on Tuesday. Chief Education Officer has recommended to cancel the recognition of the GRD world school, Bhauwala, Dehradun with immediate effect.

Four students, who had allegedly raped her on August 14, have been sent to juvenile justice board, Haridwar. Besides it, five including school director were produced before Pocso in charge Justice Gurbaks Singh and court sent them on 14 days judicial remand. Meanwhile victim has been sent for medical examination and its report would come on Wednesday. During long discussion between advocates victim statement could not recorded before magistrate. Now she will be brought before court on Wednesday.

GRD world school, Bhauwala, student was raped by four students on August 14. As the information reached then Dehradun SSP Nivedita Kukreti sent Sahaspur Naresh Singh Rathore. During investigation it has revealed that after the gang rape vicitm was pressurised by the managment to suppress the matter. Even they administered oral medicine to abort her pregnancy. As the matter confirmed then police immediately arrested the nine person including four rapist and other fives were arrested with an allegation that they tried to delete the evidence.

Police produced all the accused before the court on Tuesday. Court has sent four minor rapists into juvenile reform centro, Haridwar. Other five allegedly accused Director Lata Gupta, Principal Jitendra Sharma, chief administrative officer Deepak Malhotra and his wife Tanu Malhotra and Hostel care taker Manju have been produced before POCSO court. After hearing both prosecution and defense lawyer court sent them on judicial custory for 14 days. Later they were sent to Suddhowala jail.
