In Kanpur, SP city Surendra Das has attempted suicide by eating suspicious substance. IPS Surendra Das, posted at SP Eastern Post, was admitted to the Regency Hospital in the critical condition on Wednesday.
Doctors told that the condition of SP City Surinder Das is currently fragile. Surendra Das is a resident of Barauli village of Ballia. His wife Raveena is a MD from GSVM Medical College Kanpur. Surendra Das’s family is currently shifted to Lucknow. He lived together with his wife. Surendra Das is the IPS officer of the year 2013. The SSP in charge of Kanpur gave this information.
In the past, senior police officer of the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) Rajesh Sahni had shot his office on government’s own gunpowder. Sahni was a 1992 batch provincial police service officer. The news of the young officer consuming poison spread like a fire in the entire department. Many top police officers have reached the hospital themselves. So far, the reason behind this incident has not been ascertained.
