Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat conducted a surprise inspection of the Emergency Medical Ward of Doon Hospital and took stock of the arrangements on Saturday evening. Later he also visited to State Disaster Management Centre at Secretariat. With these two inspections he surprises everyone that why CM is showing too much activeness?
In Doon hospital he inquired about the health of those admitted in the emergency ward and also listened to their problems. Chief Minister also inquired about the health of those admitted in the Emergency Ward from the Emergency Medical Officer Dr Naresh. He directed that better treatment should be provided to all patients admitted in the Emergency Ward. Besides cleanliness, clean beds and bed sheets should be arranged in the ward. He also instructed that in case of disaster, arrangements of extra beds should be made in the Emergency Ward of this hospital.
He took the details regarding the information received from all the districts of the state and the prompt action taken on them. Chief Minister instructed that the disaster management center should be kept active for twenty four hours during in wake of the continuous rain from the last two days in the state. He further directed that immediately after the occurrence of any kind of calamity in the state, effective arrangements should be ensured for quick relief.
Chief Minister instructed the Secretary Disaster Management Amit Negi on the telephone that it should be ensured that experienced duty officer are deployed at the State Level Disaster Management Center all the time, who can contact all the concerned departments to ensure the requisite arrangements. He also instructed that all the concerned departments officials be deployed in the Disaster Management Center and to keep constant contact with the disaster management centers of all the districts and focus on better coordination with all departments.
