The Bharatiya Janata Party workers should work hard to secure more than 50 per cent votes to enable the BJP to govern for 50 years. The BJP national president Amit Shah said this while addressing party workers during his visit to Dehradun on Sunday.
Addressing at the party’s social media volunteers’ meet in Dehradun, Shah said that currently there was a clash of ideologies in the nation. The BJP’s ideology of putting nationalism and Indian culture foremost to regain the past glory of the nation. This is not an easy task to achieve but the party had chosen this purposely whereas the opposition parties were indulging in politics solely to gain power.
There was a time when the national political scenario was dominated by the Congress party with the rest of the parties on the other side. However, now it was the BJP on one side and the other political parties on the other. If the BJP succeeds in securing 50 % of the votes, then none can defeat it even if all the opposition parties come together.
He stressed that the party cadre should work with a target of maintaining BJP Govt from the Panchayat level to the Parliament for a period of 50 years. In order to achieve this target, we will have to work hard and also adopt a broad plan of action. In this battle, our social media workers are akin to a strong weapon. While the Congress is working with the help of hired helps, they are no match for our dedicated workers.
Giving emphasis on the importance of the NaMo app, shah said that the party’s social media workers will have to be fully aware of central government’s achievements, schemes, works of the state government and other relevant subjects. Shah averred that BJP activists work for Mother India while those of other parties work for profit.
Later, while speaking in another party meeting, Shah said that the workers were the soul of the party and that the party will progress with the progress of its workers. He also stressed on the need for connecting people from all sections of the society with the party. Expressing his views in this meeting, the BJP national general secretary, organisation, Ramlal said that it is essential for the party workers to tour Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha constituencies as much as possible while meeting with the people and deliberating with them.
He said, “Our fight is against poverty, illiteracy, illness and unemployment and not aimed at creating struggles within society. The confusions which Congress national president Rahul Gandhi is creating by spreading misinformation will not last at the ground level because the truth cannot be conceale
State Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the party had been receiving suggestions from the Dalit community. The Government is working on the problems which are communicated to it. The State Government is implementing all the schemes available for benefitting the poor sections of society.
