State government has deployed their machinery for International Day of Yoga programmes on June 21, which will happen at historical Forest Research Institute (FRI) campus where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi would perform Yoga along with over 50,000 people. Even he would address nation so around 100 journalists are also coming from Delhi to cover it. Meanwhile, a rehearsal of the master trainers for the proposed programme was held at the FRI compound on Tuesday.
A tight strict security protocol is being followed regarding the passes to be issued for the mega Yoga show. To ensure his entry even the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has applied for e-entry gate pass.
The entry would be closed for the Yoga enthusiasts at 5 am sharp before the scheduled time of the PM’s arrival. It is learnt that the Yoga practitioners- most of them were the Yoga instructors- followed the general yoga protocol from 7 am till 7.45 am on the day. A rehearsal for the proposed programme on International Yoga Day was held at FRI campus here on Tuesday.
During the 45 minute rehearsal, hundreds of yoga practitioners did yoga exercises namely ‘Greevachalan’, Sakand Sanchalan, Kati Sanchalan, Ghutna Sanchalan, Tadaasan, Varkshasan, Padamhastasan, Ardhchakraasan, Trikonasan, Bhadraasan, Vajraasan, Ardh Ushtaasan, Shasahkasan, Utanmanduasan, Vakraasan, Makraasan, Bhujagasan, Shalbhaasan, Setubandhasan, Utanpad Asan, Ardhhalasan,Pawanmuktasan, Shavasan, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom,Sheetali Prayanayam, Bharamari Prayanayam and Dhyaan. All the arrangements for the International yoga day were checked on the occasion.
Garhwal Commissioner Dilip Jawalkar, Dehradun District Magistrate S.A. Murugesan,police officials and other senior officials were present.
