Fake appointment scam busted in secretariat

In the Secretariat, a big disclosure has been made in giving jobs to the youth. The accused and the victims of the fake encounter were released shortly on the instructions of an officer. Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh has ordered an inquiry into the whole matter.

On Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm, four youths reached the nearby office to make the pass of the secretariat. He showed his appointment letter and said that he got a job in the PRD in the Secretariat. The pass office informed the security personnel. Security personnel detained him on this. Inquiries revealed that the appointment letters are fake. The youth told that the person giving the appointment letter stood outside the secretariat. The security personnel also caught him. In the inquiry, he told that his name is Sandeep Bisht and he is a resident of Kotdwar. He was contractual employee in the Secretariat through a contractual job. He left the job two days ago. Sandeep confessed that he took 60 thousand rupees from five youth and gave them a bluff to get a job in the PRD and later the secretariat contract basis.Fake letters of appointment on the letter pad of secretary and additional secretary were recovered from Sandeep.

The accused told the media that he has been instructed to deal with the matter by returning the money. The question is, which secretariat officer asked him to do this? Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh said, “The matter is serious. It will be investigated and the culprits will be dealt with. Why the accused was released and this fact will be examined closely.”

In this matter, Secretary Harbans Chugh said, “The Secretariat administration has no right to arrest the accused, so they were released. We have ordered to file a lawsuit against the accused. “
