A delegation of the Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (PDFA) met the Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat at CM residence on Tuesday.
They discussed various problems being faced by the dairy farmers. Chief Minister said that in dairy business, there are good possibilities of self-employment and employment generation. Women have an important role in the dairy business in the state. State government is giving bonus to encourage milk production. He said that the milk business should be encouraged, so that farmers can get self-employment and people can get cheap and quality milk.
Chief Minister assured every possible help for the people associated with dairy business. On this occasion, PDFA President Dr. Harendra Singh Rawat and CEO Dr. Atul Joshi were also present.
