Cops claim to have busted sex racket in Shimla

Shimla Police today claimed to have busted a sex racket with the arrest of a man and a woman from a guest house in the Himachal Pradesh capital. The police also arrested a customer and rescued a 19-year-old woman who was allegedly brought to the state capital for flesh trade by the woman who ran the racket, an official said.

The official said the police department had been receiving complaints about the sex racket and sent a decoy customer to the guest house and arrested the woman and the man.

The 32-year-old married woman arrested by the police has been living in Shimla for a few years and had been luring young girls into flesh trade. Last night, she had booked a room in the guest house and the police laid a trap and arrested the accused, the official said.
