CM asks DM to be vigilant

In view of the weather forecast related to heavy rainfall in the state Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has instructed all the District Magistrates to remain alert .

CM said that it is necessary to remain vigilant in view of Char Dham Yatra. Special attention should be paid to ensure that due to heavy rains on the Yatra routes, there should be no problem to the travelers. In case of heavy rains, all necessary arrangements of travelers should be ensured. He has also instructed the officials of the State Disaster Management Center to keep monitoring the situation by establishing regular links with all the districts. Along with this, information related to disaster should also be brought to the notice of higher officials.

He said that special alertness is required during the upcoming rainy season. In this regard, all the District Magistrates should remain alert for any kind of disaster and accordingly, prompt action should be ensured and instructions have been issued for the speedy response. He has asked all the District Magistrates to continuously inspect the District Disaster Control Room. DMs to remain in constant touch with the public representatives in view of the disaster.
