CM Rawat pays obeisance at Kedarnath, Badrinath Dham

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat paid obeisance at Sri Kedarnath Dham and offered prayers on Monday. He also inaugurated a 10 bedded hospital at Sri Kedarnath Dham, which will be managed by District Hospital, Rudraprayag. He said that with the setting up of the hospital, the health facilities at Kedarnath will get further strengthened.

 On this occasion, Chief Minister reviewed the facilities being provided at the Char Dham Yatra route, re-construction works at Sri Kedarnath and the work of construction of Ghat, near the banks of Mandakini river. He said that this is important time of Char Dham Yatra. He instructed the officers that for the facilities of the pilgrims, they must ensure that all arrangements are smooth. Chief Minister said that information about the lodging and food arrangements of the pilgrims should also be obtained on regular basis. He said that from time to time, the rate lists on the shops should be checked.

 On this occasion, Chief Minister said that this time, record number of pilgrims are coming for the Char Dham Yatra. He said that so far 2.5 lakh pilgrims have reached Kedarnath. He also spoke to the pilgrims in order to get their feedback about the facilities.

 Earlier, Chief Minister went to Sri Badrinath and performed Puja and paid obeisance at Lord Sri Badri Vishal. On this occasion, he prayed before the Lord Badri Vishal for the prosperity of the people of the state and their good life.
