BJP launches Samarasta campaign

Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Trivendra Singh Rawat formally inaugurated “Samarasata” campaign on the eve of Dr BR Ambedkar anniversary at a function organised by Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha at community centre, Mohini road on Friday.

He also participated in the community lunch on the occasion. After garlanding photo of Dr BR Ambedkar, Chief Minister said that government has decided to hold “Samarasata” diwas from his birth anniversary till his “Mahanirvan Diwas ” on December 06. He said that the BJP is playing an important role in bringing social equality in the country. He said nobody can harm social equality and uniqueness of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated a building constructed at a cost of Rs 104 crore in the memory of constitution maker, Dr BR Ambedkar at a function held at New Delhi. The building has been shaped as the Constitution book. Dr Ambedkar’s preaching, teachings, principles, manuscripts would be placed in a museum in the said buidling.

He said government is committed for complete social equality. He recalled that former RSS chief Bala Saheb Devras held “Samarsata” camps across the country and held lecture series on social equality in Pune. During the camps, participants held discussions on different issues which include social equality and steps to be taken to overcome social injustice. Efforts in this directions are still going on. He said RSS is an ideology at the national level. There has been attempts to suppress people belonging to socially and economically weaker section of the society. Efforts are need to curb such tendencies and to unite the society. He said only by uniting the society and overcoming personal rivalries that the dream of new India could be fulfilled.

MP Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah, MLAs Harbans Kapoor, Ganesh Joshi, Umesh Sharma “Kau”, BJP Dehradun president Shemsher Singh Pundir, Ravindra Katariya, Vinay Goyal were present.
