A 21-year- old youth who was a student of DAV (PG) College was killed, while a girl was seriously injured when the scooty they were on rammed into a pole alongside a road in IT Park campus in Dehradun on Thursday.
Eyewitness said that the deceased lost balance as the scooty was moving in high speed. Both were taken to Government Doon Medical College and Hospital, where the doctors declared the youth brought dead and the girl was referred to Sri Mahant Indresh Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Sirajpal, resident of Rajpur while the injured girl was identified as Priyanka, resident of Indra Baba Road, Rajpur. Police said Sirajpal was a student of B.SC in DAV (PG) College.
