The Transfer Act is an achievement of the State Government. with this act state government employees are happy. this was said the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat while addressing media persons here on Friday.
He said that this move would instil confidence among the employees that transfers would be transparent and infuse them with new energy. Rawat said that all employee organisations had been demanding a transparent Act for long and the Government has fulfilled their wish.
He said that the State Government has made an arrangement of Rs 120 crore for the Muzzafarnagar- Roorkee rail link which would be beneficial for the people of the State and those visiting it. Making an appeal to the corporate houses to donate generously for development of infrastructural facilities in Kedarnath, the CM said that a trust has also been set up for the purpose.
He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had suggested the creation of a trust for Kedarnath. In response to a question on the national highway – 74 scam, the CM said that the scam took place during the term of the Congress-led state Government and the present Government has initiated strict action against those involved in the scam. Rawat said that the Lokayukt Act would be sent to the business advisory committee of the house.
He however reiterated the commitment of his Government to deal effectively with corruption. He said that after forming the government, it has been its top agenda.
