State Finance Minister Prakash Pant expressed disappointment over the lack of coordination between state government departments and financial institution at the state level bankers meet here today.
He said that implementation of several programmes getting affected due to improper management. Pant said that there was no clear road map as to how the departments and banks should work together to ensure speedy execution of Central and state level schemes.
The result is a complete lack of awareness of each other’s strength and weaknesses which ultimately led to shoddy implementation of schemes. He also given emphasis on the utilisation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Funds.
On the other hand, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh also expressed his displeasure at the slow pace of implementation of government schemes. Only 50 per cent of the work has been done and there is no follow up on new projects.
