The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) will make some changes in the examination pattern for 2018 board examinations in certain subjects. For Class 10, the changes are only in Mathematics subject, while for Class 12, the changes will apply to Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
According to education officials, students appearing for board exams will get options of multiple choice questions (MCQ) and more choices in choosing questions in certain subjects. The board exams start in March every year.
As per reports now the 10th board paper will have 5 Multiple Choice Questions. While students undertaking the 12th class exam too will get many options to choose from in the aforementioned subjects. The board took this decision with an aim to improving the pass percentage and marks scored by the students.
