UPES to organise seminar on Agro supply chain

UPES is going to organize two days long conference on ‘Agro supply chain’ at their premises on Nov 3-4.

Sharing the objectives of this event, Associate Dean Dr Neeraj Anand said “The conference not only intends to provide an interdisciplinary forum to policy planners, regulators, professionals, academicians, researchers, entrepreneurs, consultants & administrators for debate, discussion, and dissemination of information, results, innovations & improvisations in the broad area of agriculture based Supply Chain and Cold chain logistics issues, but also, conceptual & empirical papers, case studies & doctoral thesis relevant to the theme of the conference are invited from academicians as well as practitioners representing corporate, financial institutions, regulatory bodies & government agencies” he added .

The Director – Media, UPES Arun Dhand informed that some eminent persons  from Industry and Academia including Dr Vijay Sardana, Advisor – Commodity Derivatives Advisory Committee, SEBI and Expert, Committee on Horticulture Policy, J&K, GoI;  Anil Arora, MD, M J Logistics; Dr BS Negi, Director – Horticulture and Food Processing, Government of Uttarakhand; Dr RC Srivastava, CEO – Uttrakhand Horticulture Marketing Board and HMNEH; Shyam Iyenger, GM Supply Chain, Patanjali; Alok Srivastava, Sabziwala, New Delhi; Organic Sisters (Kanika and Kushika), Dyo Resorts, Mukteshwar; Anuguj Agarwal, Entrepreneur, Suvidha Retail Chain, Dehradun; Amit Garg, DGM (Techno-commercial), Adani Group; Dr S Farooq ( President – Himalayan Drugs )and  Dr Pragati Gokhle, Dy Director GIDR Wardha will make their presentation.
