Officers suspended due to wedding cards

Two Administrative officers have been suspended on the charges of distributing state cabinet minister Arvind Pandey’s son wedding cards.

Ironically state education minister had given his son’s wedding cards to their department officials and asked them to distribute it as per their convenience. In which two officers sent these wedding card to school principals with written instruction to them. As the matter came into public forum then they immediately suspended the two officer with immediate effect. With this suspension order one thing is clear that official either do not know about the rule and regulation for the government employee or they did it showcase their closeness with the minister. Reason may by anything but it ascertains that that officers love sycophancy.

Bageshwar CEO office chief administrative officer Fakir Ram Arya and Kapkot BEO Darban Singh Takuli have been suspended and they have been attached with directorate with immediate effect.

Education minister had invited all the employee of their ministry. He had asked the Additional director and chief executive officer to distribute his son’s wedding card among people verbally. But these two officers asked chief education officer (CEO) and Block Education Officer (BEO) to collect minister’s son wedding card from their office and even they mentioned the letter number on it.

Education officer RK Kunwar said that these two officers are facing serious allegation and if it proven then they may face harsh decision in future. They themselves issued a letter by signing their superior signature. Although they have attach with directorate during their suspension

Sources said that chief minister office has taken this very seriously. As they come to know that they immediate sought details from education secretary. Taking cognizance on it education secretary asked the director to take punitive action against them. Following on it, director immediately issued their suspension order.
