Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has inaugurated the seven days long state level 67th industrial development and cultural Gauchar Fair at Gauchar today. CM also unveiled various development schemes worth of Rs 45.96 crore. He also distributed cheques of agricultural loans of Rs 5.46 crore among 1054 small and marginal farmers of district Chamoli and Rudraparyag under the Deendyal Upadhyay Sahkarita Kisan Kalyan Yojna.
In his address, CM Rawat asked the educated youths to join the farming sector adopting the new technology. Revolution in agriculture sector might be ensured with the help of new technology. Principals of the colleges have been assigned responsibility to fill all the vacant posts of degree colleges. Insurance scheme has been started for the students of degree colleges in the State.
Government is committed to improve the health sector of the State. Uttarakhand has become 5th State that started tele radiology technique in 12 hospitals. Adequate numbers of doctors will be sent in the hospitals of hilly regions in coming days. Skill Development Centers will be opened in border districts i.e. Chamoli and Pithoragarh to provide employment opportunities to the educated youths.
Two training centers will be opened in Garhwal and Kumaun for the youths want to join army. Besides it, CM also distributed cheques of Rs 40000 each to the two women beneficiaries under Ganga Gai Yojna.
