Air warriors return from sundardunga glacier

Eleven Air Warriors of the Indian Air Force who had set course for trekking to Sundardunga Glacier, located in the Himalayan range on  October 28  returned to  the Air Force Station at Bhowali in Nainital district safe and sound.

The trekking team was received at the Air Force Station Bhowali by the Station Commander Group Captain S K Sriharsha and the Station personnel. Sriharsha congratulated the team for the accomplishment of the task in the difficult terrain and for having returned to the base safely without any injury or sickness.

The 11-member team comprised  Squadron Leader Shwetank Rana (Team leader), Flight Lieutenant Supriyo Dutta, Junior Warrant Officer PK Chaturvedi (Ground Training Instructor), Sergeant Amit Kumar, Sergeant Manoj Pathak, Sergeant Rakesh Kumar Mahto, Corporal G Divakara Rao, Corporal Inder Pal Singh, Corporal A Anand, Corporal Ankit Rawat and Corporal Mahesh Kadapure.
