The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce its Class 10 Board examination results tomorrow, on June 3, sources have said.
There was speculation earlier that the results would be declared on Friday, but sources confirmed that the results will be announced tomorrow, on June 3. The results can be accessed on cbseresults.nic.in .
This year 7,81,463 students appeared in CBSE’s school-based exam and 8,86,506 students took the board-based exam.
CBSE declared the Class 12 exam results last Sunday. The pass percentage dipped slightly to 82.02% after the board moderated marks, but authorities decided to refrain from “artificially spiking” them. Last year, 83.05% students cleared the Class 12 exams.
The Board is currently providing counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class 10 and Class 12 results. Result related queries can be clarified from experts.
For clarifying the queries, the Board has made tele-helplines and centralized access system available. For the tele counselling 65 experts comprising of Principals, trained counsellors, special educators and psychologists will be available to address result related queries.
As an alternate option, queries can also be brought to the notice of the Board using the toll free number 1800 11 8004.
