Happy over the Uttarakhand Police’s role in the detention of the father-son duo from Bihar, tagged to an attempted rape case, who were absconding for long, director general of police, Bihar, PK Thakur has written a letter to his counterpart of Uttarakhand MA Ganapathy, stating that the coordination between team of Pauri Garhwal police and that of Patna Police in this case was exemplary in terms of inter-state police cooperation.
Notably, Nikhil Priyadarshi was an accused of an attempted rape case involving a daughter of a former minister of Bihar and the father was an accused too for allegedly threatening the survivor of consequences. The duo had been absconding since the special judge court in Bihar issued warrants against them.
Thakur in his appreciative letter mentioned the role played by Mukhtar Mohsin, SP Pauri Garhwal and the professionalism displayed by the district police team on the matter.
