In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun on January 21 Uttarakhand police has put their personnel on high alert. ALthough he is coming to attend IMA function but police is not leaving any stone unturned. He would address combined commanders’ conference there. Sucn a conference is being organised for the first time at IMA, Dehradun.
Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, senior commanders of all the three defence forces and a host of officers from ministry of defence would be present on the occasion. Police have been directed to be vigilant around IMA premises and to launch intense verification drives in its vicinity in view of PM’s visit.
