BJP legislature party meeting led by CM Rawat

For the assembly session, which formally began with governor’s address on March 24 with the actual session slated to be held with vote of thanks on governor’s address on March 27, Bharatiya Janata Party legislative party met the BJP State head office on Sunday. In the meeting, the first time MLAs were apprised about the house proceedings and how to raise questions and supplementary questions during question hour or zero hour.

They also discussed about whom to be appoint deputy speaker of Vidhan Sabha. They also spent time in a session focused on how to implement the BJP’s vision document, which was unveiled by union finance minister Arun Jaitley during assembly election-2017, on gorund. In the meeting, chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat sought party guidelines and monitoring to ascertain whether the promises are being executed or not on ground. CM reiterated that state government is dedicated to implement all such promises on gorund. He assured that whatever promises have been made would be executed on ground.

CM Rawat reiterated that people had given huge mandate to the BJP state government, party workers and leaders sitting in government should not take it lightly because they have been empowered to facilitate the public and meet their expectation as well. He assured that with the guidance of senior leaders, motivation of party workers and active support of public representatives he would try to set a new record in the state in governance.

Sources said that party MLAs also discussed about when he would induct two more MLAs into his cabinet and who would be new deputy speaker of the Vidhan Sabha.
