The baby girl who had been admitted at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital (SMIH) for the past five months has recovered completely. For the last five months, the baby girl had been admitted at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. The doctors, nursing staff and team of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital gave motherly treatment to the baby girl and set up a new example. On Monday, the baby girl was handed over by A.S.P. Lokeshwar Singh to Mr. Bhatt, member of Bal Kalyan Samiti. The hospital’s nursing staff was happy to know the fact that soon the baby girl will get a news home and parents, on the other hand, they were quite emotional with tears in their eyes. It is because the baby girl they are making to play in their laps was going away from them.
Ironically, Police had brought a new born baby at SMIH for treatment. The policemen had located the baby girl inside the bushes in critical condition. The Management of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital took the whole responsibility of treatment of the baby girl. The baby girl got free treatment at the hospital. The baby girl was treated under the supervision of Dr. Ragini Singh of Pediatrics Deptt. of the hospital. With the course of time, N.I.C.U. incharge Sr. Sonam and other nursing staff of developed extreme emotional attachment with the baby girl. Along the duty, the nursing staff used to take extreme care of feeding the baby girl with milk, changing her clothes and overall upkeep of the baby girl. Many couples contacted the Hospital Management in order to adopt the baby girl. Even some Nursing staff also expressed interest in adopting the baby girl. But as per the rules and regulations, the Hospital Management was unable to hand over the baby girl to any couples straight-forward.
